NACCU was registered under the Cooperative Societies Act on 15th July 2017 as a national cooperative organization. Its membership consists of all registered secondary coffee cooperative unions in Kenya.
NACCU was formed out of the realization that there was a gap in the representation of small-scale coffee farmers to the duty bearers at all levels of the coffee value chain.
